About the Department
30 full-time faculty members and over 60 graduate students. APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PhD program since 1973 (reaccredited 2021 for 10 years). Scientist-practitioner model. Experimental Psychology PhD program also offered. New 22,000 sq ft facility at South Oxford Center with Psychological Services Center (9 therapy/assessment rooms).
Requirements
- PhD in Clinical Psychology from APA-accredited program by August 2027
- Predoctoral internship from APA-accredited program by time of appointment
- Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
- Child-focused research and clinical interests
Preferred Areas
- Neurodevelopmental disorders
- Feeding and eating disorders
- Developmental psychopathology
- Childhood emotional disorders
- Other child-focused clinical psychology areas welcome
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain substantive research program
- Pursue external research funding
- Teach graduate and undergraduate psychology courses
- Pursue licensure to provide clinical supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to graduate students
- Recruit and mentor graduate students
