Qualifications

  • Ordained minister with at least five years of pastoral experience in the local church.
  • Teaching experience in higher education at the undergraduate level with master's and doctoral teaching experience is a plus.
  • A track record of scholarly research in Christian Ministry or Practical Theology.
  • Applied or academic doctoral degree in Christian Ministry or Practical Theology (D.Min., Ph.D., etc.).

Expectations

  • A dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning.
  • Evidence of faithful and fruitful ministry focused on the proclamation of Christ (Colossians 1:28) and done in "in demonstration of the Spirit..." (1 Corinthians 2:4).
  • A record of or potential for academic scholarship.
  • The ability to teach graduate-level courses.
  • Familiarity with online instructional technology.
  • A willingness to embrace the School of Divinity and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to Regent University's statement of faith.
