Assistant Professor in Accounting
The AACSB-accredited Ed G. Smith College of Business offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a variety of business disciplines. Within the College, the separately AACSB-accredited Accounting program offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting and supports DBA students emphasizing Accounting in their research. The Accounting Department is a collegial workplace comprised of faculty members with diverse research and scholarship interests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in accounting and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses
- Provide service to the department, College, University, accounting profession, and/or wider community
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited university (completed or expected before the start date)
- Research and teaching interests in any area of accounting
- Ability to start on campus by Fall 2027
