About the role

Join the dynamic team at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Division of Hematology and Oncology and be part of our exciting growth in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We're seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology professionals at Assistant, Associate, and full Professor levels to contribute to our expanding education, research, and clinical endeavors in hematology and oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities through the dedicated inpatient and ambulatory care facility, an integrated Palliative Care program, and close clinical and research interactions with Surgical and Radiation Oncology, the Versiti Blood Research Institute and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research.
  • Engage in physician engagement and wellness initiatives at MCW and Froedtert, providing opportunities for personal and professional success.
  • Participate in various aspects of cancer care including cancer prevention, epidemiology, immunology, drug development and pharmacotherapy, and all phases of clinical trials.

Requirements

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Benign Hematology, Community-based hematology/oncology, Gastrointestinal Oncology, Transplant and Cellular Therapy, Hematological Malignancies, Oncologic Hospitalist, Genitourinary Oncology.
  • Strong commitment to academic medicine and research.

Qualifications

  • MD or PhD degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
