About the role
The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an Assistant Professor - General Pediatrics - Chief Resident.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor residents in the clinical training program.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational curricula.
- Participate in faculty development activities.
- Engage in research activities relevant to pediatric care.
- Provide clinical care to patients in the Division of General Pediatrics.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a pediatric residency program.
- Board certification in pediatrics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate medical licenses/certifications.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Proven track record in research and publication.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
