About the role
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of adult cognitive conditions with emphasis on Alzheimer's Disease.
Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Board eligible in Neurology; Board certified in Neurology is preferred
- Fellowship trained in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology
Responsibilities
Teaching
- Staff patients in neurology resident clinic every other week
- Work with Cognitive Neurology Fellows
- Lectures for medical students, neurology residents, and cognitive neurology fellows
- Mentor residents and fellows
Clinical
- See patients in the Penn Memory Center, Frontotemporal Disorders Center, and general cognitive neurology with a focus on Alzheimer's Disease
- Participate in clinical research trials and studies in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
