About the role

The Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is recruiting up to two (2) tenure-track faculty, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor.

Responsibilities

Candidates are expected to contribute to the training and teaching of professional, postgraduate, and graduate learners, as well as provide institutional service. Candidates will join a highly-collaborative, multidisciplinary research community, and will be provided with newly renovated laboratory space along with generous start-up funds and competitive compensation packages.

Requirements

• A PhD and/or MD degree
• An outstanding track record of research accomplishments/publications
• Evidence of external funding from NIH or other national agencies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and in person
• A commitment to the training and education of graduate and medical students
• Maintain an extramurally-funded research program
