About the Role
This position will include clinical care via face-to-face and virtual modalities, supervising surgical residents, and participation in the procedural components of the section and the professional evaluation and quality improvement programs.
Qualifications
- Junior to mid-career level surgeon eligible for appointment as an Assistant Professor at the medical school.
- Formal training and experience in:
- Mitral valve repair
- Aortic valve repair
- Complex valve surgery
- Coronary artery bypass grafting
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Interest in growing clinical trials in at least one of the above areas.
- Additional experience or training in aortic and endovascular surgery is desired.
