Essential Job Functions
- Provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research, and patient care needs of the Department of Anesthesiology.
- Provide direct patient care, including anesthesiology, pre-op services, and post-op services.
- Participate in all teaching activities in the Department, including conferences and lectures, teaching in the operating rooms; house staff supervision in the operating room; continuing medical education; and local, regional, and national meetings.
- Supervise and evaluate residents, provide medical direction, and participate in committee memberships at the departmental and Health System level.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved medical school.
- Completed an approved residency training program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology.
- Texas Medical license without restrictions.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
