About the role

The Department of Thoracic/Head & Neck Medical Oncology (THNMO) at MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applicants for a clinical full-time academic appointment at the level of Assistant Professor focused on thoracic clinical care and research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care duties at the MD Anderson main campus as well as our Houston area locations.
  • Establish a thoracic-focused clinical research program, providing clinical care to patients in the Thoracic Cancer Clinic.
  • Teach in the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology and Division of Cancer Medicine.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's research program.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Texas.
  • Possess an MD or MD/PhD with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in the subspecialty of medical oncology.
  • Show expertise in head and neck medical oncology clinical research.
