About the role

The Department of Thoracic-Head & Neck Medical Oncology (THNMO) at MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applicants for a full-time academic appointment at the level of assistant professor. This is a clinical faculty position in the specialty of head and neck medical oncology that primarily involves patient care and clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for patients with head and neck cancers
• Conduct clinical research related to head and neck medical oncology
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the department

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Texas
• Possess an MD with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in medical oncology
• Demonstrate expertise in head and neck medical oncology and clinical research

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine (MD)
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Medical Oncology
• Experience in head and neck medical oncology
• Research experience in relevant areas
