About the role
The Department of Abdominal Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging, at UT MD Anderson invites applications for a full-time, clinical faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent, comprehensive and compassionate care for patients
- Providing multimodality abdominal imaging expertise, including oncology-focused CT, MRI, inpatient/intra-operative and outpatient ultrasonography and ultrasound guided biopsies, fluoroscopy, radiography and other radiologic procedures
- Educating medical students, residents, and fellows
- Developing academic and scholarly programs and projects to advance an understanding of cancer
- Fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research and education
Requirements
- A medical degree
- A board-certification or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
- Licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
- Certification in either Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Post-residency fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging
- Prior research experience and publications in Abdominal Imaging is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Medical degree
- Board-certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
- Certified in BLS or ACLS
- Post-residency fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging
- Prior research experience and publications in Abdominal Imaging
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Research and publication skills in Abdominal Imaging
