- Ophthalmologist with a strong peer-reviewed publication track record of research in retinal and macular diseases
- Background in advanced imaging modalities of the retina
- Completed an accredited ophthalmology residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
- Completed a two-year surgical vitreoretinal fellowship
