About the role
The Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame seeks applicants for up to three tenure-track assistant professor positions. Duties will include teaching, research, and service.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates: Must have completed all Ph.D. requirements or be on track to complete a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field by July 1, 2027.
- Advanced assistant-level candidates: Must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field.
Research priorities
Candidates with research interests in Macroeconomics, Economic Theory, and/or Econometrics will receive priority consideration.

Background check
This appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Applicants will be asked to identify all felony convictions and/or pending felony charges.
