About the role

The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an Assistant Professor to join our Neurology Ambulatory team. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is dedicated to improving the health of Mississippians through education, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical research in neurology
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Provide patient care in the ambulatory setting
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees

Requirements

• PhD or MD degree in Neurology or related field
• Board certification in Neurology
• Experience in clinical research
• Excellent teaching skills

Qualifications

• Strong publication record
• Ability to secure external funding
• Interest in community outreach and public health initiatives
