Assistant Professor
About the role
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor/Instructor in the Radiologic Technology Program. This position also includes Clinical Coordinator responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Teaches courses, laboratory and clinicals in various modalities, as assigned.
- Engaging in outreach and enrollment events and activities.
- Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical coordination, didactic and laboratory instruction, student advisement, participation in accreditation and assessment activities, and committee assignments for the department and the College.
Requirements
- The Assistant Professor position requires a Master's degree in an appropriate field with either three (3) years of teaching experience or an appropriate combination of teaching, relevant work experience, and scholarly activity.
- The Instructor position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health, education, or a related field, with work experience in an area appropriate to the teaching field strongly preferred; approved Master's Degree required within four years for continuing appointment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to teach all areas of Radiologic Technology and hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification and New York State License.

Pay
The annual minimum salary for Assistant Professor is $58,276. The salary will increase to $59,995 on September 1, 2026. Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

The position is a Full Time Regular, First Shift (Day).
