About the Role
UIC College of Business and the Department of Accounting continue to see substantial enrollment growth. This hire will meet the needs of the growing student body including the requirements of the accreditation of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Responsibilities
- Research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, service to the department, college and university, and outreach to the business communities.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Earned Ph.D. or other terminal degree by the start date of appointment.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, high quality scholarly research, and service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of effective teaching, high quality scholarly research (e.g., works in process, publications, etc.).
- Commitment to collaborative service within the academic community.
