About the role

This is a full time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Children’s Hospital Colorado. We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible pulmonologist to be a part of our expanding and active program. Key Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinical care
• Inpatient, Consult and Outpatient Consultative services
• Bronchoscopies, laryngoscopies, PFTs

Work Location

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Assistant Professor: MD/DO, Board certified for board eligible in Pediatrics, Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date
• Preferred Qualifications: Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology, Prescriptive Authority, Experience and proficiency with electronic medical health record systems
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge appropriate for individuals completing a three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship, Ability to complete pediatric pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, Pediatric clinical assessment skills, Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring responsibilities, Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, Exceptional time-management skills (to include managing email, EPIC, and other electronic forms of communication), Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group
