About the role

The Accounting and Information Systems Department at Rutgers Business School (Newark and New Brunswick) seeks a full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professor beginning the 2027‑2028 academic year. The position involves conducting research in Accounting and Information Systems, participating in departmental service, and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on both the Newark and New Brunswick campuses, with an annual teaching load of 12 credits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in Accounting and Information Systems.
• Engage in service activities as determined by the Department and School.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Accounting and Information Systems Department on the Newark and New Brunswick campuses.
• Maintain an annual teaching load of 12 credits.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD (minimum qualification for tenure‑track).

Pay

Salary range: $195,000 – $215,000 (final offer based on qualifications, experience, expertise, department/grant funds, market benchmarks, and internal equity).
