About the Role

The Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will build and maintain a strong extramurally-funded research program in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, complementing existing departmental strengths in chemical biology, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, cancer biology, and infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of undergraduate and graduate programs of the College of Pharmacy (50% time)
• Develop and maintain a nationally recognized program of research (45% time)
• Support the service mission of the College of Pharmacy (5% time)

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, bioengineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral training
• Evidence of strong potential for independent research and high-impact publications
