About the role
Service as a Neurologist for the Division of General Neurology within the Department of Neurology. Your clinical practice will primarily occur within the outpatient neurology clinic at Grady Hospital seeing a mixture of patients with autoimmune neurological disorders along with a wide variety of general neurological disorders.
Responsibilities
- Primary clinical practice in the outpatient neurology clinic at Grady Hospital, seeing a mixture of patients with autoimmune neurological disorders along with a wide variety of general neurological disorders.
- Outpatient neurology clinic schedule includes seven (7) half-days per week when not covering the inpatient consultation service.
- Six (6) weeks on the inpatient neurology consultation service at Grady Hospital.
- Six (6) weekends of inpatient rounds at Grady Hospital.
- Four (4) weeks of vacation time per year.
- Teaching and research requirements, including bedside teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
Requirements
Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Completion of a residency program in Neurology.
- Experience with autoimmune neurological disorders and a wide variety of general neurological disorders.
