About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of residents, fellows, and/or medical students.
  • Provide outpatient sports medicine care for musculoskeletal injuries including MSK ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections as well as concussion management.
  • Experience in clinical and translational research in musculoskeletal injuries including MSK ultrasound, experience in quality, health services and outcomes is preferred.

Requirements

  • Expertise is required in the specific area of education and clinical care and MSK ultrasound.
  • Candidates must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and a certificate of Additional Qualification in Sports Medicine.

Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical and translational research in musculoskeletal injuries including MSK ultrasound, experience in quality, health services and outcomes is preferred.
