Assistant Professor Academic Clinician – Neurohospitalist
About the role
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of quality improvement/clinical effectiveness, medical education and clinical care. The department is seeking applicants who are highly experienced in the area of stroke. Applicants who have completed stroke fellowship training are preferred. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students and residents on bedside rounds for the consult and inpatient services.
- Applicants are expected to embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
- Attend on the inpatient neurology services at Virtua-Our Lady of Lourdes via the Penn-Virtua Alliance and at one or more of our downtown Philadelphia hospitals to complement the growing group of Neurohospitalists.
Requirements
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
