Assistant Professor, Academic Clinician - Division of Pediatric Nephrology
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
Responsibilities
- Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities
- Inpatient/consultation services and outpatient nephrology services including:
- Transplant clinic
- Fellows clinic
- Several multidisciplinary clinic opportunities
- Dialysis
Outpatient nephrology services are located at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia-Main Campus and satellite locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
About the Division
The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is at the forefront of clinical care, teaching, and research. The Division is comprised of 15 faculty members and 9 clinical fellows, in addition to a team of nurses, administrators, social workers, dieticians, and research staff.
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Preference for 3-5 years of Nephrology Attending experience (not required)
