About the role
The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Nephrology within the Department of Pediatrics. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is the state's only academic health science center dedicated to improving the lives of Mississippians through education, research, and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical research in pediatric nephrology
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in the academic life of the department and institution
Requirements
Applicants must have a MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, be board certified or board eligible in pediatric nephrology, and have completed a pediatric nephrology fellowship program.
