About the role
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Critical Care Medicine with a focus on Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Teaching in the formal didactic lecture program and informal teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, and other health care professionals working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Attendance and participation in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division as well as multidisciplinary conferences
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- ABP certification or board eligibility
- Pennsylvania licensure
- Completion of fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine
Clinical responsibilities
- Clinical practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Philadelphia and/or King of Prussia campuses
- Practice in the Progressive Care Unit at the Philadelphia campus
