Responsibilities
- Teach introductory and upper-level survey, scene-study, audition technique, movement-based acting methodology, and play analysis courses.
- Direct two departmental productions annually.
- Direct and manage Theatre ETC ! , our Theatre for Young Audiences program.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience as an acting teacher with a range of movement-based techniques such as Qualities of Movement (Chekhov), Alexander Technique, Viewpoints, Laban, Biomechanics, and Lecoq.
- An established national reputation in the field or evidence of potential for national recognition.
- Awareness of current and emerging trends in the acting profession.
- Experience as a lecturer in Theatre Appreciation and/or with Theatre for Young Audiences programming is highly desirable.
