About the role

The Assistant Production Operator position at Spartech Greenville Facility offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth. This role supports a wide range of customers producing specialty products including face shields, covid barriers, and aerospace-grade materials.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure polymer resin preparation, material modifications, and accurate data collection
  • Accurately maintain process conditions and all required paperwork or records
  • Support new product design and process development
  • Provide technical assistance for the Polymer Processing group and Physical Testing Laboratory
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs to lab equipment when needed
  • Operate lab scale extruders, thermo-formers, etc.

Education & Experience

  • Experience working with polymer materials and processes
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay & Schedule

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour + up to 1.50 s/d!
