Assistant Production Manager - FT

About the role

Assistant Production Managers have direct supervision of all retail supervisors and hourly staff who have access to the vault and/or registers. They are responsible for total store supervision on a day-to-day basis to meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities
• Ensures store audits and LP Audits are maintained at or above acceptable levels
• Leads the semi-annual inventory process
• Monitors all safe procedures and ensures cash handling procedures comply with policy
• Oversees supply management and ordering processes to ensure smooth store operations while staying within budget
• Ensures payroll expenses align with budgeted parameters
• Delegates work to appropriate employees and ensures wage requests and payroll timekeeping are up to date
• Manages all employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel-related expenses
• Ensures building and functions are properly maintained; submits and monitors maintenance requests
• Ensures security and safety systems are in working order (door locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, incident reports)
• Participates in full-cycle hiring, including interviewing and onboarding new retail employees following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines
• Serves as the security "captain" for the assigned store location, working with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets from internal and external theft
• Delivers exceptional customer service to a variety of customers

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
