Qualifications
- New York State School District Administrator (SDA) or School Building Leader (SBL) certificate by the time of appointment
- Instructional leader well-versed in teaching and learning theories
- New York State Certification as a School Social Worker
- At least five (5) years of successful school district experience
- Expertise in technology and computer-based platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Restorative practices
- Experience with Infinite Campus or other Student Information System (SIS) platforms
- Meticulous record-keeping skills

- Plan, implement, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate student conduct, attendance, and at-risk behavior that may interfere with student success
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention programs that address the needs of at-risk students
- Perform administrative duties to assist the Principal in managing the school culture and climate
- Provide restorative practices for students when necessary
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of designated certificated and/or classified personnel; assign duties to faculty and staff to meet school objectives
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and selection of new faculty and staff
- Develop and administer disciplinary procedures in accordance with district policies and state laws; receive referrals and confer with students, parents, teachers, community agencies, and law enforcement
- Resolve parent, student, and staff concerns and complaints; serve on discipline or expulsion panels as assigned
- Supervise students on campus before and after school, during lunch, recess, passing periods, and other activities; instruct and discipline students in accordance with established guidelines
- Monitor and organize attendance functions; prepare letters, call parents, and attend meetings regarding absent or tardy students; lead attendance improvement efforts
- Provide direction to faculty, staff, and student programs and services; participate in classroom visitations and observations; provide recommendations for improvement
- Participate in Individual Educational Plan (IEP) meetings as needed
Pay
$109,796 – $129,334 (in accordance with the Administrators contract)
