School Climate Coordinator

Doylestown, Pennsylvania – Behavioral Health / Education – Day shift

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced School Climate Coordinator for our LifeWorks School System for the 2026-2027 academic school year. The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for middle and high school students affected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Our comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Our unique balance of academic rigor and a continuum of evidence-based educational/therapeutic supports make LifeWorks the regional provider of choice.

Responsibilities

• Implement the School Safety Plan, enforce the rules and regulations which govern school student discipline, and implement disciplinary measures as necessary.
• Act as a liaison with students, families, school support teams, and other non-school-related entities to ensure a school climate that is conducive to learning and provides students with a safe and secure environment.
• Provide oversight to all behavior management support staff.
• Ensure all staff are utilizing proper classroom management strategies.
• Provide behavior management/classroom management training individually as needed and to all faculty regularly.
• Ensure all safety protocols are being completed in a thorough and consistent manner.
• Provide behavior management support to all staff by working with students on both an individual and group basis as needed.
• Monitor student behavioral achievement through observation and other quantitative methods.
• Ensure students’ behavior improvement plans (if applicable), Positive Behavior Support Plans (if applicable), and IEPs are being implemented with fidelity.
• Complete tasks assigned by staff pertaining to school environment, behavioral interventions, and other operational functions in the school (e.g., peer mediation, conflict resolution, restitution, phone calls to parents/guardians, functional behavioral assessments, discipline referral tabulation, etc.).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or another related Human Services field of study.
• Experience with Special Education is preferred.
• Prior experience working with students within a special education school setting is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of support staff oversight experience.
