Assistant Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Role Summary The incumbent provides therapeutic physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist, following a written plan of care to achieve treatment goals. Responsibilities include delivering patient treatments, participating in discharge planning, and communicating progress and findings in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies. They may supervise clinical students, support staff, and volunteers, fostering a caring environment that promotes health and healing. Additional duties include contributing to healthcare delivery improvements and assisting in staff and student development. Qualifications & Skills Entry-level experience preferred, with a focus on basic skills and computer literacy.Must possess licensure as a PTA and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
