Assistant Personal Training Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Personal Training Manager (APTM) who supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering results through member integration, programming, and development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and fitness expertise of all PT team members
- Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
- Administer the CrunchOne Kickoff experience through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding with the goal of acquiring personal training clients
- Counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness - Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation and Coaching and Accountability, in a manner consistent with their goals
- Maintain accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to; dotFIT program and supplements, client programming, and progress tracking
- Isolate, align, and direct resources informed by KPIs & organizational priorities with PTM assistance
- Report to the Managing Partner and Personal Training Manager on key results and action plans
- Attend all required meetings/trainings for PT staff
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of personal training experience required
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Prior management experience leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
- Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
- Certification required in one or more approved Nationally Accredited Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Certification, The Cooper Institute Personal Trainer Certification, International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification, National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), International Sports Sciences Association (with NCCA accreditation)Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Physical Requirements Must be able to lift or move 50 lbsPhysical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
