About the role

Tulane University School of Medicine seeks a clinician/educator or physician scientist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine and interventional pulmonology.
  • Contribute to the collaborative group of 28 clinical and research faculty in the Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Work within the training program that includes 14 pulmonary/critical care fellows.
  • Participate in unique research opportunities, including collaborations with the School of Public Health, Department of Immunology, Center for Aging, Biomedical Engineering, and the Tulane Primate Center.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and/or interventional pulmonology.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong commitment to research and academic excellence.

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-doctoral experience.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research.
