Target Hourly/Salary Rate: 75,000-90,000, Commensurate with rank & qualifications
Appointment: Full-time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Qualifications

• Completed doctorate degree in social work area
  
• Equivalent Qualifications: An established record of peer-reviewed scholarship and external research funding, with credentials appropriate to appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor
  
• Experience teaching in a PhD-level social work curriculum
  
• Active or license-eligible New Mexico social work licensure appropriate to the position's teaching focus
  
• A minimum of three years of post-MSW social work practice experience
  
• Experience with academic leadership, program coordination, or committee service
  
• Experience mentoring students and junior faculty
  
• Experience working with Hispanic-Serving Institutions or similarly diverse student populations

Required

• PhD in Social Work
  
• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program
  
• Teaching experience across delivery formats
  
• A research agenda complementing existing faculty strengths
  
• A demonstrated commitment to DEI
