About the role
This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.
Responsibilities
- A 2-3 teaching load across the BSW and MSW programs
- Maintaining an active research agenda
- Engaging in university and professional service
Requirements
- PhD in Social Work or a closely related field by start of appointment
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program
- Successful candidates will provide evidence of scholarly research and teaching
- A minimum of two years post-MSW practice experience (preferred)
- The ability to apply for and secure external research funding (preferred)
- The ability to teach in both the BSW and MSW programs, in-person and online (preferred)
- Experience in developing and maintaining successful community partnerships (preferred)
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Social Work or a closely related field
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program
- Research and teaching experience with diverse and historically underserved individuals, families, and communities
- Ability to apply for and secure external research funding
- Ability to teach in both the BSW and MSW programs, in-person and online
- Experience in developing and maintaining successful community partnerships
