Assistant or Associate Professor of Counseling (MCFC)
About the role
The Counseling Department in Regent University's School of Psychology and Counseling is accepting applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position with primary responsibilities in our Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling (MCFC) program.
Responsibilities
- Earned doctorate from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited Counselor Education and Supervision program
- Clear professional identity as a Marriage and Family Therapist or counselor specializing in marriage and family work
- Current licensure as an LMFT or LPC with significant training and experience in marriage, couple, and family counseling
- Demonstrated expertise in systemic and relational counseling theory and practice
- Ability to teach across the counselor education curriculum, with primary teaching and supervision responsibilities in the Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling master's program
Requirements
- Expectations include a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning
- A record of or potential for academic scholarship
- The ability to teach graduate-level courses
- Facility with online instructional technology
- A willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith
