Responsibilities
Faculty are expected to participate in research/scholarly activity, public service, academic advising, and committee work in support of the Department, College and University missions. Faculty also have the opportunity to work with student clubs and teams within the Department.
Qualifications
- An earned doctorate in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in livestock production and management, with a record of teaching at the college level.
- A background in ruminant production that has meat science or food safety experience is also desirable.
- Candidates with teaching experience in areas of cattle management, small ruminant production, swine production, poultry production, animal nutrition, animal breeding and genetics, livestock evaluation, and animal reproduction will be given precedence.
