Assistant or Associate Professor, Northwestern Innovation Institute
About the role
The Kellogg School of Management in partnership with the Northwestern Innovation Institute is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position which is open to be part of any Kellogg department at the rank of Assistant Professor or untenured Associate Professor for academic year 2027-2028. To fill this position we are seeking a scholar studying how AI reshapes innovation, knowledge production, scientific discovery, organizational decision-making, or networks. The position is responsible for conducting advanced research in chosen areas of expertise and interest; supervising doctoral candidates; teaching basic and advanced courses in their department at the Master’s and/or Doctoral Degree level; contributing to the research and teaching of other faculty members.

Pay
The expected base pay range for this position at the rank of Assistant Professor is $218,000 - $240,000. The expected base pay range for this position at the rank of Associate Professor is $260,000-$280,000. This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation. Research discretionary funding will also be provided. Summer salary, including from sponsored projects, may also be available.
