About the role

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of TownePlace Suites Fort Lauderdale, ensuring smooth hotel management and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and facilities management
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintained
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve guest experience
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct regular inspections and report findings to upper management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel operations
  • Proven ability to manage staff and handle conflict resolution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with property management software

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of local area and surrounding communities

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
