Assistant Officer/Officer - Inventory

Job Context

Akij Resource is looking for Officer/Assistant Officer – Inventory for its SBU, Bongo Traders Limited, to support inventory and warehouse operations of fertilizer across multiple locations in Bangladesh. The incumbents may be posted at various warehouse locations, including Khulna, Jashore, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, and other business locations as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials or products.
• Maintain stock registers and inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
• Issue materials/products according to approved requisitions.
• Arrange and organize items in the store/warehouse for easy identification and retrieval.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with safety procedures.
• Prepare stock reports, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and other store documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams regarding inventory needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the store area.
