Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Administrator in the day-to-day operation of the facility
- Participate in leadership meetings, operational reviews, and facility rounds
- Support regulatory compliance and ongoing survey readiness
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
- Work with Nursing and department leaders to support strong clinical and operational outcomes
- Assist with recruitment, retention, staffing, employee relations, and leadership development
- Support resident and family relations and assist with resolving concerns
- Participate in admissions, census development, marketing, and community relations
- Review key operational and financial metrics and assist with action plans
- Participate in special projects and organizational initiatives
- Assume additional administrative responsibilities as delegated by the Administrator
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator license strongly preferred
- Recent graduates of an approved Massachusetts Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program who are eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field preferred
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Desire to build a long-term career in skilled nursing leadership
