Assistant Nursing Director - Surgery Nursing - $30-43 per hour

About the role

The Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the department(s). This includes assistance with supervision of all personnel and procedures, ordering of supplies and equipment, and managing schedules. The position requires excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and supervise multiple areas.

Requirements

Education

• Academic degree in nursing required (bachelor's or master's degree)
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field required (health administration, business, public health, or management)

Experience

• 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position

Certifications

• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy
• AHA BLS
