About the role

The Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the department(s), including assistance with supervision of all personnel, procedures, ordering of supplies and equipment, and managing the schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all department personnel
• Oversee daily procedures and workflows
• Order supplies and equipment
• Manage department schedules
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Supervise multiple areas

Requirements

• Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s degree) required
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (health administration, business, public health, or management) required
• 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy
• AHA BLS certification
