About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) – Surgical Services position at Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Registered Nurse to lead the team in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Support daily OR, Sterile Processing, and PACU operations and ensure high-quality patient care
• Supervise, mentor, and inspire nursing staff
• Promote a collaborative, team-focused environment
• Achieve compliance with clinical standards and best practices
• Aid in staff education, onboarding, and professional development
• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate surgical services for optimal efficiency and outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or compact state (required)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• Experience in Operating Room, Sterile Processing, and PACU
