Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical and professional standards through monitoring nursing staff performance, providing feedback, conducting appraisals, and implementing improvement plans.
• Foster professional growth by identifying training needs, organizing educational programs, and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and career progression.
• Resolve conflicts among staff promptly and effectively using mediation techniques to maintain a positive work environment and ensure team cohesion.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• Average of $15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates (see terms below)
• One (1) year applicable experience required for internal candidates and rehires within 12 months.
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation).

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Nursing
• Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
