Assistant Nurse Manager – Pediatric Infusion Center & Pediatric Hematology Oncology

Full-time position (40 hours per week), rotating shifts.

Compensation Range: $93,600.00 - $126,360.00. Individual annual salaries will be determined based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.

About the Role

In an outpatient setting, this role supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. The position contributes to goal achievement through personal action and facilitation of others, participates in community and professional organizations, and demonstrates commitment to promoting nursing's visibility and future.

This position will work closely with the infusion center leadership team to provide comprehensive clinical care across the Pediatric Infusion Center, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic, and Acute Care Clinic. In addition to supporting expert clinical practice, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will play an integral role in staff education, orientation and onboarding, professional development, and ongoing team engagement. The ANM will share responsibility for daily clinical operations and partner closely with the existing ANM and multidisciplinary leadership team to optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiencies, and promote effective patient care management.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert patient care and serves as a clinical resource.
• Consults as requested and communicates effectively within the unit and service.
• Participates in the management of human resources, including the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies.
• Monitors patient outcomes at the unit, program, or service level.
• Assumes expanded roles as assigned by leadership.
• Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional levels.
• Leads staff education, orientation, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
• Enhances operational efficiencies and optimizes workflows in collaboration with the leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical expertise, communication skills, and a commitment to staff development and continuous improvement.
