Job Summary
The Asst Nurse Manager Amb is a Registered Nurse (RN) who supervises patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations. This position works collaboratively with functional leadership and oversees daily operations, quality improvement, payroll, scheduling, and patient throughput.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Experience: 2 years of nursing experience required
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse, State of CT; Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Knowledge of principles and practices of nursing and healthcare administration; Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical assessments and institute safe and effective care; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong leadership skills and a commitment to lifelong learning; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Ensures a safe and healthful work environment.
