About the Role
An Assistant Merchant supports the execution of seasonal assortments and acts as the point person for cross-functional partners in production, marketing, design, allocation, and planning.
Responsibilities
- Assist Merchants in organizing assortments aligned to overall department strategy to drive increased earnings.
- Identify product opportunities and become an expert in the competitive landscape.
- Partner with Design and Production on product strategies and requirements to meet customer needs, ensure AUC profitability, and improve speed to market.
- Collaborate with Planning and Allocation on seasonal investment strategies by market to protect big ideas and growth drivers.
- Communicate seasonal strategies collaboratively to key cross-functional teams to ensure innovation and financial success.
- Prepare and analyze selling recaps.
- Manage sample inventory.
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of Merchandising experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.

Pay
Hourly range: $25.48 - $29.74. Base salary is determined by internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is part of a competitive total rewards strategy that includes bonuses, benefits, and perks.
