Assistant Mens Track Coach

Coaching position within New Hanover County Schools at New Hanover High School.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop student-athletes in the assigned sport.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practices and games.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among athletes.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and school administration on scheduling, equipment, and facility management.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of the sport, rules, and strategies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
